Dugan

Lead Testers

Although Dugan (aka Doog, Pumpernickle) is no longer with us (1989-2006), she is the ultimate Lead Tester, as indicated by us naming Dugan's Barkery after her. She is always with us in spirit, guiding us to produce the highest quality treat for every dog.

Digby

Digby (aka Hot Dog, Little Man, Sweet Boy) is our 6-year old male Border Terrier who came to us after suffering some tramatic experiences in the mid valleys of California and ending up in a series of shelters. We adopted him from a no-kill shelter in Devore, CA in 2006, and he continues to be our perfect "little man".

Prinnie

Prinnie (aka Froo, Baby Dog, Silly Little White Dog) is also our 6-year old "bundle of joy". She is a Minature American Eskimo, who, too, we adopted from a local shelter after seeing her while volunteering on Christmas day, 2007. A few days later, Prinnie became a member of our family. Having this little eskie has brought us so much joy, AND, she is a top-notch Taste Tester for the Barkery!

Duncan

Siku Marie

Duncan (aka Doodle, Duncadoodle) is our 3-year old terrier mix and our newest family member, joining us in early 2009. He, too, is a resuce dog from our local shelter, and with this extreme food allergies, has been the impedus for us to start the Barkery as a means of providing him and his siblings a healthy, non-allergenic variety of treats. Duncan is a lover of children and anyone who will offer him a pat.

Siku Marie (Athabascan for "Ice" and aka White Dog) is a 4 1/2 year-old minature American Eskimo who came to her loving family from Kansas in February 2005. Siku and her family live in Albuquerque, NM. Siku has demonstrated remarkable skill in her agility training, loves to do "trades" for treats and is the BFF of Prinnie. Siku especially loves cuddle time with mom, her evening walks, going to the park and car rides with dad.
